This multi-flat scheme replaces an existing 2 storey detached house & provides three independent dwellings - its form strictly defined by various constraints such as building lines, set-backs & visibility. The building also navigates an irregular boundary which in turn creates a pitched roof profile along its entire form, evidencing existing architectural styles in the area. The animated gabled roof - scape turns a corner with four symmetrical gables which gradually become less regular & more playful as the building gravitates towards the carriageway.
